Born and raised in Southern Oregon, Amanda graduated from St. Mary's High School in Medford. She then attended the Robert D. Clark Honors College at the University of Oregon and Graduated magna cum laude. Amanda attended the University of Oregon School of Law and was a member of Oregon Law Review, serving as a Senior Associate Editor. She is a member of the Oregon State bar and the United States District Court for the District of Oregon.

After graduating, Amanda was delighted to return to Southern Oregon to practice law. Amanda is currently serving as the secretary of Josephine County Women Lawyers. Amanda is a general practitioner with a broad base of practice areas
